About

Boundary Community Food Bank

The Boundary Community Food Bank was incorporated in 1989 as a non-profit society in BC and is a registered Canadian charity. We are a proud member of Food Banks BC and an affiliate member of Food Banks Canada. The Boundary Community Food Bank is located 7816 Donalds Dr. in Grand Forks BC and serves clients throughout the Boundary region – from the Paulson Bridge to Bridesville.

We provide an average of 165 hampers monthly, helping to feed approximately 300 members of our community (1/3 of which are children and 1/6 of which are seniors.) Over a third of our clients deal with some form of disability.

Our organization is 100% volunteer driven and is totally funded by individual, organization and corporate donations. Our volunteers include an 11 person working Board of Directors who do everything from policy planning and grant applications to maintaining inventory, scheduling volunteers, administrative duties and sweeping the floor.

We are open the first 4 Tuesdays of each month, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
